Terms and conditions for monthly donations and annual memberships paid by creditcard or PBS
Agreement of monthly donations and memberships of SisterPower International
When signing up for monthly donation or an annual membership SisterPower International will be granted the permission from the donor or member to withdraw the agreed amount of money on the first day of the month of the recurring donation or annual membership due to conditions stated in the signed statutes of SisterPower International.
Terms of payment and cancellation
The agreement will be based on the amount that the donor or member chose to pay with no additional cost charged. If you have registered an e-mail, when signing up as a donor or member, SisterPower International will automatically generate a receipt for every payment. Otherwise receipts will be available for you on request on contact@sisterpower.org.
If the creditcard details or bank details are changed without a cancellation of the agreement between SisterPower International and the donor or member, SisterPower International will contact the donor or member to follow up on e-mail or phone depending on the information provided by the donor/member.
Therefore, all donors and members are requested to keep these details updated at all times or make sure to cancel the subscription due to the statues of the organization.
If you want to cancel your subscription please write an e-mail to contact@sisterpower.org with the request and the termination of the subscription will be effected from the end of the paid membership period whether it is a month or a year. The cancellation will be possible at any given time but there will be no refund made for the remaining period of the subscription being either the rest of the month or the rest of the year.
About your donation/membership fee
All donations and membership payments will be used to cover the cost of building our first pilot project in India and later additional projects in other countries. SisterPower International will continuously deliver transparent information about how the money is spent when publishing it on our homepage and in our newsletters.
SisterPower International is responsible to use the money as wise as possible according to the purpose and mission of the organization and according to the motto of “greatest impact, easiest access” - our way of saying value for money. No further obligations will be provided with the donations and membership.
On the contrary, donors and members will also not be obliged with further commitment than the agreed donation or membership.
Donations over 200 Danish Kroner per year will be tax deductible according to Danish tax legislation and SisterPower International will be able to report your donation to SKAT, if you provide us with your name and CPR.NR. Therefore, remember to provide the information needed for the tax deduction.
Non-deductable annual memberships
Annual memberships will not be deductible due to the Danish Tax legislation – as it is only available for donation and gifts and not membership subscriptions. For further information:

Data storage policy
SisterPower International stores all the information provided by the donor or member when signing up for the subscription according to the GDPR rules. According to the Danish tax laws we keep the data for 5 years and thereafter it is safely destroyed.
Sisterpower International uses log files on the donation page. These log files register the choices made by the user when on the page. When the donor chooses to pay via credit card, the donor’s payment information is registered via a secure server hosted by ePay that encrypts the information.
